Our Ministries

Growing together through faith-filled programs

Programs for Every Season of Life

At Weston Christian Fellowship Church, we believe that faith is meant to be lived and grown in community. Our ministries and programs are designed to meet people wherever they are — from the youngest children just beginning their faith journey to seniors who have walked with God for decades. Whatever your age, background, or circumstance, there is a ministry here where you can grow, serve, and belong.

Our Active Ministries

Six core ministries serving our congregation and community throughout the week

Children's ministry and Sunday School program at Weston Christian Fellowship Church

Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry runs every Sunday morning alongside the main worship service, offering engaging, age-appropriate Bible lessons, creative activities, and a safe, nurturing environment for children from ages 3 to 12. Through storytelling, craft, music, and friendship, we introduce children to the foundational truths of the Christian faith in ways that spark genuine wonder and lasting faith. Our annual Vacation Bible School is a beloved summer highlight — a full week of fun, learning, and community that children look forward to every year.

Youth fellowship, music, and cultural program at Weston Christian Fellowship Church

Youth Fellowship

Our Youth Fellowship is a vibrant, welcoming community for teenagers and young adults who are exploring faith, seeking community, and building character. Through bi-weekly youth group gatherings, mentoring relationships with trusted adult leaders, music and arts programs, and hands-on community service projects, we invest deeply in the next generation of faith leaders. We celebrate the questions, embrace the struggles, and create a space where young people can be authentic, grow in confidence, and discover their God-given purpose.

Adult Bible study and teaching session with Scripture teaching

Adult Bible Study

Every Wednesday evening, adults gather for an in-depth exploration of Scripture in an open, discussion-based format. Our study groups rotate between topical series and book-by-book study of the Bible, ensuring a rich and balanced diet of God's Word throughout the year. No prior biblical knowledge is required — questions are celebrated, doubts are welcomed, and every perspective enriches the discussion. Whether you are a biblical scholar or a first-time reader, you will find this a nourishing and stretching experience.

Worship and music ministry — joyful group worship at Weston Christian Fellowship Church

Worship & Music Ministry

Music is one of the most powerful expressions of faith, and our Worship & Music Ministry is the heartbeat of our Sunday gatherings. Our choir, worship team, and instrumentalists work together to lead the congregation in blended worship — weaving together beloved traditional hymns with contemporary songs of praise. We warmly welcome musicians, singers, and all those with a heart to lead others in worship, regardless of skill level. If music is your gift, there is a place for you in our worship family.

Senior fellowship and community care at Weston Christian Fellowship Church

Senior Care & Visitation

We believe that every person deserves to feel seen, known, and cared for — especially in the later seasons of life. Our Senior Care & Visitation Ministry is a dedicated team of volunteers who regularly visit homebound members, seniors in care facilities, and elderly members of our broader community in Berwick and the Annapolis Valley. Through personal visits, phone calls, practical assistance, and genuine companionship, we ensure that no one in our community is forgotten, isolated, or without the warmth of human connection and Christian love.

Prayer ministry and intercessory prayer gathering at Weston Christian Fellowship Church

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is not just something we do — it is who we are. Our Prayer Ministry encompasses weekly Thursday evening prayer meetings, an active intercessory prayer team, and a discreet prayer request system for those who need a community of faithful people praying on their behalf. We believe that prayer changes things — in individual lives, in families, in our community, and in our world. All prayer requests are treated with complete confidentiality and genuine pastoral care. We pray for our congregation, our city, our nation, and the world.

Find Your Place in Our Community

God has given every person unique gifts, passions, and abilities — and there is a place in our community for each of them. Whether you are gifted in music, teaching, hospitality, administration, pastoral care, or practical service, we would love to connect you with a ministry where your gifts will flourish and your efforts will truly make a difference. No experience is necessary — only a willing heart and a desire to serve. Come as you are, and let us discover together where you belong.
